My laptop's keyboard is being weird and annoying

Usually I scroll pages with the arrow keys in my Dell Inspiron N5110 / M5110 Laptop Keyboard , because it goes slowly and all. Well, I went to push them a little bit ago, and it acted like the Home/End keys and just took me to the top of the page. I don't know what I did, but I want it fixed. Also, whenever I click near text, editable or uneditable, it displays a blinking cursor whatever, like what shows up when you're typing something. I'm assuming these problems are connected, since it wasn't like this last night.
