Laptop keyboard help!!?

Okay so basically last night I fell asleep on my laptop (oops) and when I woke up this morning I clicked on the Internet, went to type but no letters or anything would come up in the browser it would just bring p my bookmarks page. Any suggestions on my Lenovo Z Series Keyboard ?
Thanks techno in the panic. Forgot to try the most obvious thing
