Whenever Woods is in town, he's been known to frequent a superexclusive golf club here, and the relatively good-lookin' athlete usually wasn't alone.

Says a ritzy employee source:

"[Tiger] would show up with an attractive woman occasionally, who was not his wife. No one knew anything for sure, but all the pros around would speculate that there was something going on between them. They looked...close. More than in just a friendly way."

This naughty tidbit arrives at a most helpful time, no?

Plus, it makes us possibly put two and two together with Tiger and Alleged Mistress No. 2 Jaimee Grubbs. Not to mention what Mrs. Woods might—or might not—have been using that golf club for.

A friend of Jaimee confirmed to E! News that she believed something sexual was going on between Grubbs and Tiger.

Woods would reportedly send her racy texts ("I will wear you out...when was the last time you got [bleeped]?" and "Send me something very naughty...Go to the bathroom and take [a picture]").

But Jaimee's friend said they would do other activities, too, that didn't just involve a bed: "He helped her with her golf swing, I remember her saying. He would help her with a better technique."

Interesting. Think there's any relation to the clubhouse gossip and Tiger's special friend that he would take to the driving range?

After all, Jaimee lived in San Diego and would supposedly come up to the W in Westwood whenever Tiger was in town.

Just sayin' it's a possibility Tiger's "transgressions" didn't come out of thin air.
