Satellite C655D-S520 recurring keyboard failure.

I have a customer that brought in his satellite C655D-S5200. The Toshiba Satellite Keyboard was only partially working. I ordered a NEW replacement keyboard, installed it and tested it. It worked for two weeks and now the new one has stopped working. Nothing has been spilled on the unit, it hasn't been dropped, no trauma to the laptop. In fact, this laptop has been stationary (on a desktop) since he picked it up after the first keyboard replacement.

My question is, is this a KNOWN issue and is there a factory recall on this unit? If so, where do I find the information on recall? If not, how do I proceed in creating a case for this type of failure? Or, what other direction should I go with this issue?
