Connecting the Optimus V to a Wii controller?

I just gave it a shot together with the Energy A Mini Wii Controller, no luck. I attempted to connect them that have a handful of of your totally free Wii Remote apps readily available around the app marketplace. I'm inclined to spend for an app that works though. Is Optimus V the trouble? Or the 3rd get together controller I am employing? Has anyone been able to make people apps do the job with an Optimus V? Any assist will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Nevermind. I observed the compatibility checklist ([Only registered and activated consumers can see links]), so I will guess I will just steer the thread in a distinct path. Does anyone know a good alternate for game pads which can be compatible with this particular cell phone?
