How you can convert a laptop keyboard to be used on the desk

Since my Gateway Laptop Keyboard is damaged and that i cant customize the one in any short time, so I am while using desktop for the time being.The issue is which i cannot type on the desktop anymore!



I continue striking typos and that i dunno the positioning of the secrets.I am a fast typer and that i dont consider the keyboard after i type. And That I cannot get used these large block secrets... grr...any tips to turn a laptop keyboard to some desktop keyboard? I've got a PS/2 cable.



Gateway Laptop Keyboard is really a new 1 which uses this ribbon slot factor rather than a plug factor. and will i then have to remap the laptop keyboard or what?



the Gateway Laptop Keyboard is exactly the same as they always have been, a ribbon goes from the keyboard controler to the board directly. Only way that you could do it is to tear apart a standard PS2 or USB keyboard and wire the laptop keyboard into the connector using the ribbon and keyboard control board as a bridge into origional keyboard's connector, and since the two keyboards have different control units this probably won't even work
